ASELSAN has signed an important cooperation agreement with Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI). Within the framework of the agreement, ASELSAN will work on the development, integration and serial production of avionic suites for air platforms. This agreement, worth a total of $60.3 million, will contribute to the development of domestic technology in the defense industry, and deliveries will take place between 2025 and 2028.

In the statement made by ASELSAN to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was stated that this agreement signed with TAI will have a positive impact on the company’s turnover performance. Under the agreement, ASELSAN will provide TAI with avionic suite development, integration and serial production services for air platforms. With this project, Turkey aims to reach more advanced levels in the aviation sector.
TAI is an important defense industry company among ASELSAN’s customers, as TAI’s share in ASELSAN’s income statement is 9 percent, while its share in trade receivables is 7 percent.
The total amount of the agreement was determined as 60 million 309 thousand dollars, and the deliveries to be made within this scope will be completed between 2025 and 2028. Company officials stated that this cooperation will have a positive impact on ASELSAN’s activities.
This agreement between ASELSAN and TAI will not only contribute to Turkey’s development process in the defence industry based on indigenous technologies, but will also make significant contributions to ASELSAN’s commercial activities.
